With your current form slowly deteriorating, you'll need to navigate the station's shady backways, form alliances, and earn credits for upgrades to stay alive. You play as a Sleeper, a digital human consciousness inside an artificial body, who is the property of the conglomerate Essen-Arp. Think of this game as a sort of slice-of-life RPG with a dark and mature narrative inspired by classic tabletop games. This motley crew consists of characters of all sorts, from hackers to mercenaries, and even your average joe just looking to make a better life. Among the inhabitants of this lawless place that has succumbed to interplanetary capitalism is a ragtag group of outcasts looking to rise above their less-than-ideal situation.
